PHYSICS TRACKS

There is a wide variety of opportunities available to you after graduating from CC. There are several tracks available, prociding guidance in preparing for your future. A track is a collection of courses designed to help you specialize in a particular field of study. The traditional physics major is the Liberal Arts Track. Successful completion of a track (with exception to the Liberal Arts Track) will be indicated on your transcript. These tracks are only guides for you in selecting your courses. There is no formal application or obligation to finish a track. Successfully completing the minimum requirements for the physics major is equivalent to completing the Liberal Arts Track. Below are the available tracks, including a brief description:

Professional Physics Track
This track is for students interested in pursuing graduate school in physics, or a related field. A broad coverage of major topics of physics is represented, preparing you for graduate school in any field of physics. It is a very comprehensive track including nearly every available physics course offered at CC.
